Data Recovery

The thought of lost data really puts a bad feeling in your stomach, whether it is business or personal information. It always seems that it is the important information that is lost and generally you were pretty sure that the data was safe and that there wouldn’t be a problem. Unfortunately this is normally the case. Too often, data is kept in only one place, when there is a failure, the data is lost and data recovery processes need to be put in place.

  • You turn the computer on, it shows you a black screen with the words DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER.
  • All of a sudden network users cannot access information on the Server, you find out there has been a drive failure or multiple failures causing the RAID system to fail.
  • Malicious software has attacked your computer and left your files unable to be opened?
  • Files were accidentally deleted or overwritten? Have you ever accidentally chosen Save instead of Save As, resulting in the original file that you wanted to keep being overwritten?
  • A power anomaly has caused your data to become corrupt?
  • That little memory stick with all that important information on it went through the washing machine and now won’t let you access the data?
  • The external hard drive where data has been moved so that it isn’t “clogging up” your computer hard drive

Unfortunately, most times you have no idea that a hard drive might be failing, generally though they do give warnings of impending failure. With our B.E.S.T. Programme, we get alerts about these problems and the hard drive can be replaced before disaster strikes and avoid having to go down the data recovery route.

If you can’t access your data or believe that your drive or device is being slow or difficult to access, please, call us for help before you need to recover lost files.

And finally, please, make sure you have a really good backup in place, that way you won’t need to worry about data recovery!
